FLUXGATE SENSOR PRINCIPLE:
Low frequency fluxgate sensors consist of a wound iron core that saturates at low inductance. The current chopper switches the winding current to alternately saturate the core at a fixed frequency at ±B max. Fluxgate sensors measure the primary current using a symmetrical change in the saturation point. Due to the principle of switching currents, all biases (electrical and magnetic) are canceled .
